What does it cost to commission Rose to create a piece of photographic art?

Generally the process is as follows;

Initially you will have an informal chat with Rose to view samples of her work and to discuss exact requirements, timings and costs.

From that point, Rose’s prices are broken down into three sections;

The Photo-shoot

With children, it is often easier and more relaxing for the photo-soot to take place in familiar surroundings. Rose has a completely mobile studio which she can set up in most locations. It takes about 30 minutes to get everything ready, and then the actual shoot can take from 15 minutes to about an hour.

After the photo-shoot, the images are either uploaded onto a private website or a contact sheet delivered, for the client to view. Note there is no obligation or pressure to make purchases and you can take as long as you like to choose. Rose would be happy to make suggestions on which images would work well and appropriate sizes.

The cost for the photo-shoot and private viewing website or contact sheet is $190

The Photograph

Rose’s print prices start at $95. This is for an 8″ x 8″ (20cm x 20cm) photograph, ready to be framed in a 12″ x 12″ (30cm x 30cm) frame.

The Frame

Photographs get damaged and often get put aside waiting for a frame. Rose supplies her work framed, and ready to be hung. The mount and frame are charged at cost.
